Pastor Joel Bauman feels privileged to be serving the Lord at Avoca Bible Church. The Lord called him, his wife Tracie, and his family to Avoca in October 2006. Pastor is blessed to have been raised in a Christian home and was saved, trusting Christ as his personal Savior, at age five at Arena Bible Church. After completing his degree in Pastoral Studies at Clearwater Christian College, he served as youth pastor and assistant pastor at Berea Baptist Church in Palm Harbor, Florida, for fifteen years.
Devoted to preaching the Bible, Pastor Joel is passionate about seeing people commit to becoming followers of Jesus Christ. Pastor Joel hopes to see the church live out Colossians 2:6-7 “… So walk ye in Him, Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith…”

Assistant Pastor - Caleb Letzring
Growing up in Orlando, Florida, Caleb was blessed to be raised in a Christian home and to be saved at a young age. While attending college at Maranatha Baptist University, he felt the call to the ministry where he would switch his major and graduate with a degree in Pastoral Studies and Biblical Counseling. Pastor Caleb is motivated in showing the love of Christ that was first shown to him to those he ministers (John 15:12).
