How to Have Eternal Life
If you are not certain where you will spend eternity, take a moment and look at the truth of God’s Word.
Realize you are a sinner.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death.
“For the wages [payment] of sin is death . . .” Romans 6:23a
This includes eternal separation from God in the lake of fire.
But God loved you so much He gave His Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Christ paid for the penalty for your sin so you can receive His gift of eternal life in heaven.
“. . . but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Confess you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died for you, and ask Him to come into your heart and save you.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation . . . For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9, 10 & 13
